La hija de Stan confirmó la muerte de su padre a TMZ.
La información que circula, es que una ambulancia corrió a la casa de Lee en Hollywood Hills el lunes por la mañana y lo llevaron alCedars-Sinai Medical Center en donde perdería la vida más tarde.
Lee había sufrido varias enfermedades en el último año, tenía neumonía y problemas de visión.

Stan comenzó Marvel con Jack Kirby en 1961 con The Fantastic Four. Continuó creando Spider-Man, Black Panther, The Incredible Hulk, X-Men, Iron Man y The Avengers.
